WHERE HAVE WE PLANTED TREES?

We have alredy planted trees in various places such as India, Brazil, Vietnam, Honduras and many more.  This month we gave a you a choise of a few contries that need reforestation support. Thank you for your votes on our Stories on Instagram (Help us chose the next reforestation project @yogacycled_wear) this month with your help we are planting trees in Indonesia. Indonesia is made up of over 17,000 islands, including Borneo and Sumatra, the third and sixth largest islands in the world. Extensive mangroves, carbon-rich peat swamps and the third largest reserves of rainforests left on Earth are all found across this sprawling archipelago. There are a unique wildlife such as Sumatran tigers, elephants, orang-utans and over 1,700 species of birds are found all over Indonesia. With our support One Tree Planted will restore ecosystems in Indonesia that has experienced profound degradation caused by rampant deforestation for palm oil plantations, damaging peat fires, and extensive logging.

What impact does it have?

Amazing people at One Tree Planted are working hard to ensure a balance is restored to Indonesian’s forest ecosystems and the local communities that depend on them. By planting trees in Indonesia, we’re helping to create vital habitat for orang-utans and endangered wildlife in Sumatra, restore tropical forests that sequester carbon and enhance ecosystem processes in Borneo and offer sustainable livelihood alternatives to farmers through regenerative agroforestry practices.

Shop at Yogacycled and help us plant more trees

Love, Yogacycled team xxx
